Explain your idea further

“Should I save my money or eat healthy food?”

This is often a question that students ask themselves when budgeting their food money for the month. This can be a huge problem for some!

Unfortunately the FoodOnCampus cafes DO NOT help the problem by charging restaurant-like prices for fresh meals.

All students should have the right to at least one warm, fresh and healthy meal at an AFFORDABLE PRICE, EVERY DAY!

This is why a £2.50 price cap on ALL fresh meals that FoodOnCampus sells should be imposed!

How would your idea benefit students?

  • Better health
  • Access to good food every day!
  • Less worry about your food budget
  • Better concentration

Put simply, if you LOVE FOOD then back this campaign!

How could your idea be implemented?

Insist on EVERY fresh meal that the FoodOnCampus cafes sells being price capped at £2.50.

“But portions sizes will get smaller...”

Then eating at FoodOnCampus will soon become undesirable. This will not happen!

“But food quality will decrease...”

Sure, cheaper ingredients are a way of improving profits... But cheap ingredients don’t taste nice!

FoodOnCampus will soon become undesirable if food quality decreases. This will not happen!

This will not apply to drinks

This campaign is solely focussed on good, affordable FOOD for all!
